NH Wildlife Action Plan in the Newfound Lake Region

  • Where? Bristol, NH
  • By? Newfound Lake Region Association
  • At? Newfound Lake Region Association, 800 Lake Street, Bristol, NH
  • To Register:  Please contact Martha Twombly, NLRA.Martha@metrocast.net
  • Who's it for? Conservation Commission and Planning Board members
  • What is it? Fish and Game and its partners recently completed the state’s Wildlife Action Plan and NH’s towns are expected to have an important role in its implementation.  The Wildlife Action Plan identifies species at risk, assesses threats to their continued existence, and offers strategies to address these needs statewide. Have you attended a previous Wildlife Action Plan workshop and are ready to delve a little deeper?  Come to this workshop if you want to learn how to interpret the plan, maps, and data and then help turn it into action.  Fish and Game’s Lindsay Webb will review the Wildlife Action Plan, discuss conservation planning options, and explore new tools that can be used such as the Granit data mapper.
  • For info, contact:
